Workshops cost $30. and are usually held at: Workshops are held at Westminster Village Club House. The complex is off Bolsa Chica, just south of Westminster Avenue. The address is 5200 Blackpool. From either direction on Bolsa Chica, turn onto St. James Place. At the end of St. James (Baker) turn left and at the next stop sign turn right onto Kingscross. Stay on Kingscross to the next stop sign (Blackpool). The Club House is on the right. Please do not park in the slots closest to the bridge into the office. There is ample parking in the spaces around the Club House and in the parking lot across the street. Please remember that all workshops start promptly at 9 AM so plan to arrive by 8:30 to be set up and ready for the instructor to begin. Workshops end at 3 PM. WORKSHOP RULES 1. 1. Signups for workshops are open the December of the year prior to the workshops. For example, December 2009 for 2010 workshops. Forms will be in the newsletter and also available at the workshop table. 2. 2. Payment must be received at the time of signup. The cost is usually $30.00 for members. No refunds. (In order to commit to our teachers, we must enforce our policy of no refunds. This allows us to keep the cost as low as possible.) Anyone who has paid and then is unable to attend a workshop should let the workshop chair know immediately. If there is a waiting list, the next person in line would take the workshop and reimburse the person cancelling for the cost of the workshop. 3. 3. No. children. We are unable to provide childcare. 4. 4. No smoking or fragrances in the workshop classes. 5. 5. Workshops are open to non-members with an additional fee of $10.00. However, members have “first choice” of workshop openings. ORANGE GROVE QUILTERS GUILD 2010 You will be notified if one of your chosen workshops is full and you are put on the waiting list.
