The winners of the 5 incentives I had were Jan Wyrick, Mary Jo Freeman (2), Judi Smith, and Barb Mead. Many thanks to our members who graciously donate items for this cause.

The beautiful tote bag made and generously donated by Mary Lou Ripper was won by Marsha Hendler.

Thank you all for your support and I hope that you enjoy your winnings!

Bobbie Inglis brought in 7 chemo caps that were crocheted and knitted. Two of our members asked if they could have them for people that they knew. I gave them to them. The rest I will take down to the Komen office so they’ll have it with their wig bank items. Always nice to know that these caps will keep the heads warm for our survivors.

Special thanks to Janet Haynes who assisted me during the meeting to help with our projects!

I have registered our Quilt Guild’s team for the Susan G. Komen race for the cure. If you’re interested, go to the Komen website and find the race stuff for Orange County. Register and find our Team listing (Orange Grove Quilters Guild). If you need any help, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Our wonderful members continuing support of efforts on behalf of breast cancer awareness and education is appreciated.

Our membership’s ongoing commitment to helping others is heartwarming.
