We all remember Sally Lansing as the spunky redhead who usually sat in the third or fourth row at Guild.

She loved her family and was always talking about them. She was close to her two grandchildren as she would take them to and from school each day and would have long conversations with them each day. Her “one on one” time, she called it.

She was fond of all of her quilting friends and loved the craft. She loved to embroider and work on applique projects. Piecing was her least favorite but she recently had taken some classes to master that ¼” seam.

She enjoyed participating in round robins, guild challenges and block exchanges. She was also an avid collector of antique quilts and has a wonderful collection, always willing to share her latest acquisition.

We will miss her smiling face and her positive outlook on life.

The Guild is making a donation in Sally’s memory to the Marie Webster House.
