The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana has a large textile collection including a large number of quilts. Only once in a while is their collection presented to the public.
This year their Collection department has been allocated the funds to incorporate a proper textile storage system into its facility. They will be creating proper storage for 500 textiles which will let them broaden their collection.
Their goal is also to completely document the collection and provide it on their digital collection database.
They already have some quilts presented online through their website, but will be placing the entire collection online for viewing.
