The library is being revamped. The book cart had become so jammed with books that it was too heavy to move and too packed to find anything.

The book sale really helped. We were able to clear out many older books and make some money for the guild. Thanks to the generous donations of books by guild members we are adding new titles by current artists to the book cart.

As you may guess this has become a huge job. At just the October meeting we sold four boxes of books, but received three boxes of new books as donations destined to go on the library cart.

Please be patient as we continue to transition. Check out the Library table at each meeting this year for book bargains. We have heard your requests. There will be an expanded fiction section, fewer “picture books” and more technique books by current quilters.

Thanks,

Glenda McNeil
